Welcome to Carrboro Pediatric Physical Therapy, LLC

I come to you!

Carrboro, Chapel Hill (including Briar Chapel area), Hillsborough, Central/South Durham

Carrboro Pediatric Physical Therapy, LLC provides high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy evaluations and interventions to infants, toddlers, and children. Therapy services are provided in the natural environment. This includes any space your child spends their day: home, daycare, pre-school, etc. This is convenient for you and your child and is evidence-based, highly effective, and family-centered care at its best.

We specialize in infant and early childhood motor development and have expertise with a wide range of challenges your child may be facing, including postural control for breast/bottle feeding, torticollis, and fostering gross motor skill acquisition (rolling, reaching, sitting, crawling, kneeling, standing, walking). We also work with older children who may need ongoing support to gain functional skills during childhood.

Dr. Jennifer Tompkins founded and started running the show at Carrboro Pediatric Physical Therapy, LLC in 2014. A pediatric physical therapist for just over 20 years, I come to you (literally) with a strong clinical background in complex pediatric care, rehabilitation, and early intervention.
